The Small Industries Development Organization was under the control of the ministry, as was the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">National Small Industries Corporation Limited Public<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">sector undertaking).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com\/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcR1ZEG5NXE1vx73F65UrclBq7HUPveWaXJJUONIbVvUKmaqNTKZ\" alt=\"Image result for MSME&quot;\" width=\"277\" height=\"136\" \/>The Small Industries Development Organisation was established in 1954 on the basis of the recommendations of the\u00a0Ford Foundation. It has over 60 offices and 21 autonomous bodies under its management.
