Equipment Type Approval is issued by the Wireless
Planning & Coordination Wing of the Department of
Telecommunications for eligible wireless equipment
operating in permitted de-licensed bands, subject to
the applicable requirements.
Which EPR portals should I use?
CPCB currently provides a Common EPR Portal at
epr.cpcb.gov.in. Separate CPCB systems are also
available for specific waste streams such as
E-Waste and Battery Waste. Users should follow the
current CPCB instructions for their applicable
category.
What is Legal Metrology / LMPC?
Legal Metrology regulates measurements, weighing and
packaged commodity declarations. Importers,
manufacturers and other businesses may have obligations
under the Legal Metrology Act and applicable rules,
depending on their products and activities.
What is BEE Star Rating?
BEE's Standards & Labelling programme provides consumers
with energy-efficiency information for covered appliances.
Star ratings indicate energy-efficiency performance,
with higher star ratings generally representing greater
energy efficiency.
What is TEC MTCTE certification?
MTCTE is the Mandatory Testing and Certification of
Telecommunication Equipment framework administered
through the Telecommunication Engineering Centre.
Applicable notified telecom equipment must comply with
the prescribed certification requirements before sale,
